23 Apr, 2026

Cadi Ayyad University (UCA) organized UCA Innovation Week 2026, an event dedicated to promoting research, innovation, and knowledge transfer by bringing together researchers, students, and socio-economic stakeholders. The initiative aimed to highlight innovative projects, strengthen collaboration between academia and industry, and showcase scientific advances addressing current societal and environmental challenges.

As part of this event, Prof. Guendouz and Aboudia team participated through the presentation of two scientific posters. The first poster presented Doha Quebouch’s PhD research work, while the second featured a PLAMINPCK project presentation, with a few minor updates made for the occasion.

In addition to the poster presentations, Doha hosted a demonstration stand illustrating the effect of bio-based films on strawberry shelf life. This stand provided visitors with an opportunity to discover the practical applications and potential impact of this research in the field of sustainable food preservation.

The stand also received a special visit from the President of Cadi Ayyad University, to whom Doha presented and explained both posters as well as the demonstration.

Our participation in UCA Innovation Week 2026 reflects our commitment to advancing innovative and sustainable research, while fostering dialogue between science and society.
